Bad Monkey | Carl Hiaasen

#latitude reminds me of Jimmy Buffett (🎶changes in latitude, changes in attitude🎶) which reminds me of Carl Hiaasen. Bad Monkey is my favorite of his.

mabell I never read Bad Monkey but I did enjoy reading Hiaasen. (I haven‘t read any recently - his descriptions might be a touch too “colorful” for my stomach now😆) I think Skinny Dip was my favorite. 😄 5y

Certainly an adventure to infiltrate the Spanish stronghold and take the treasure! Storms at sea, three ship cannon battles, and a determined crew make for a great read! 🏴‍☠️

RamsFan1963 This was supposedly the last book Crichton wrote, but it didn't feel like his work to me. He may have started it, but it felt ghost written, like someone else tied it up. It's also a little short for your usual Crichton novel. 5y
