pickA coming of age story of a lesbian in very religious Nigeria. It is both sad and hopeful. It weaves folklore into the story with beautiful prose and the audiobook was wonderfully read with an accent and some singing! This book is a reminder of why we need #diversereads - so many thing I was unaware of! Please consider this if you're looking to diversify your reading life! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
