This was quirky, and adorable, and inclusive and beautifully queer and I loved it. Definitely a top read for this year, and would have made my #newyearwhodis list @mklong if I had read this earlier!

I loved every character to bits. It‘s a romance w/ a dash of magical realism, but at its heart this is also a story about friendship, and found families.

This also fits so many #pop22 prompts I should have waited 3 weeks to read it 🤣⬇️

mklong Looks great!! 3y
alisiakae @Cinfhen @BarbaraBB @KarenUK @Megabooks @Kalalalatja this book fills so many #pop22 prompts! Set on a train; sapphic novel; found family; featuring a party; and probably parallel reality of you stretch a bit. 3y

Story set in the little English village after the war is about the middle aged woman who is trying to open the bookshop, and this idea leads to many troubles for her. Sweet and short, with some tragic-comical moments and witty observations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the print book I was avoiding all weekend and now wish I could stay home and read it rather than be at work. Of course. I have already encountered two pie references. #litpie #pieinliterature #iLovePie #headsup #June9isStrawberryRhubarbPieDay

A man vs. nature story for the 21st century. I normally shy away from space science fiction (the complicated theories and explanations bog me down and pull me out of the story), but Weir managed to translate the jargon, create a wonderful cast of believable characters, and make me laugh to boot. #headsup if you're sensitive to foul language.
