ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS?! 🎉🎉🎉 I cried watching the video his cousin took for her IG page of him getting out of the car at home! I wanted to run up and hug him so hard and never let go. I have no idea how she managed not to. I‘m guessing it only lasted as long as the video did. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Another video showed him in the fridge at home, trying out leftovers. He deserves a LOT of good meals after 20+ years in prison food.

batsy I was just thinking about this earlier today. Came across this tweet https://twitter.com/Lisatweets444/status/1572050133549981696?t=3pCgIylnv5q52xO0R... 2y
GingerAntics @batsy awww, it won‘t let me finish reading it because I don‘t have a twitter account. 2y
TheBookHippie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ 2y
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie there was a huge group of people outside the courthouse when he left. One of his fellow inmates was also exonerated, and he took this video of everyone trying to get his attention and comments, but this guy who was also going through hell with him yells “Adnan I love you man!” and that‘s the one person in all the chaos he acknowledged. I‘m really hoping the last 20 years in prison hasn‘t broken either of them. 2y

#PhotoADayNov16 Rabia Chaudry is definitely #inspiring . Her commitment to the case and Adnan/his family is unparalleled. I listened to Serial and Undisclosed and I still found myself breathless while reading this book. Rabia Chaudry also suffers no fools and her twitter is a delight. #FreeAdnan #JusticeForHae #NonfictionNovember

I finally finished!! All I can say is #FREEADNAN. I have so much respect for Rabia in writing a very clear argument for the release of Adnan. I had no idea that so many people from the legal and law enforcement fields had gotten involved. So glad he has proper representation now and that hopefully we can all start focusing on who actually did kill Hae. Lastly, I have so much respect for Adnan in choosing to live his life the way he has.

MrBook Great review! 8y
Megabooks Awesome review! I'm going to go back and read this soon. 8y
Hazel0303 @Ebooksandcooks if you are familiar with the case almost the entire first half is devoted to re-capping it so for me that was a little harder to get through. Once they get to Serial it really picks up! And I started to cry reading some of Adnan's letters. 8y
Hazel0303 Thanks @MrBook ! 8y

I don't know if it's the Taurus in me or the bleeding heart Liberal at work but injustice makes me crazy. This book is making me so angry that I am having trouble reading it.

LauraBeth Fellow Taurus and bleeding heart - this drives me insane too 8y
Gayan @LauraBeth I was the same way when I read anything about the West Memphis Three. #freeadnan 8y
ScrappyMags Imagine being a libra... Scales and all! 👍🏼 8y
MrsV Another fellow Taurus and bleeding heart. Don't even get me started on the WM3. I completely understand why they did it, but it will always piss me off they had to still plead guilty to be released! 8y
Gayan @MrsV I was planning to go there for their release but it happened so fast I couldn't make it. I still bawl every single time I watch West of Memphis. 8y

Omg @Jessica OMG 😳😳 This entire section is just heartbreaking and infuriating. #FreeAdnan

jessberk13 I know. It upsets me so much. More so than anything that they never looked at ANY other suspects. I'm interested to see what you think when you're done. 8y
Hazel0303 I'm also kind of annoyed at Sarah @jessica And I totally side with Rabia - but agree with her assessment. They owe her more than they can be annoyed at her for. She did get the IP involved, etc. 8y

This was a great follow up look at Adnan's case. All of the injustices and discrepancies are just fascinating and terrifying. I still believe he is innocent, and I hope one day he can be relieved of this burden.

jessberk13 I actually think Don did it, after all the information given about his time cards. The vision was also very compelling, although unreliable in the grand scheme of things. 8y
[DELETED] 1409720085 So scary. Have you watched "Making a Murderer" on Netflix? I am scared to watch it because I know it is going to make me so sad but from what I've heard they are kind of similar stories. 8y
Nuwanda Agreed. It astonishes me that Don was barely ever questioned! 8y

Hazel0303 I totally agree regarding the shoddy investigation (nothing new being said with that statement I know), but aren't they only reviewing the case bc of the alibi and they feel his attorney was derelict in her duty? I haven't finished the book yet, but to me a whole case could be made for the lack of a complete investigation. Everything with Don, the evidence found by the body that wasn't tested...Maybe I have just read too many police procedureals 8y
Hazel0303 But don't they have to fully investigate everyone so they can prove it was Adnan? They had no physical evidence and if Don did it, why was Jay so involved? 8y
jessberk13 @Hazel0303 I think he got a raw deal all around. It was a perfect storm of everything that could possibly go wrong. Of course and most unfortunately, I'm positive his race/religion played a major part in the entire investigation. 8y
jessberk13 @Hazel0303 I agree - they definitely could not "prove beyond reasonable doubt" that Adnan was guilty. 8y
Hazel0303 @Jessica yes - I forgot to address the race/religion angle. It just infuriates me that whole take. And I was really interested when they brought up something similar if that happened today and I thought when Rabia said that the community would at least know what to expect and could be prepared for it now when they weren't then... That just makes me so deeply sad. Also, I wonder if the DoJ investigation into the Baltimore Police will have an impac 8y
Hazel0303 T on this case. 8y
