This was a great follow up look at Adnan's case. All of the injustices and discrepancies are just fascinating and terrifying. I still believe he is innocent, and I hope one day he can be relieved of this burden.

jessberk13 I actually think Don did it, after all the information given about his time cards. The vision was also very compelling, although unreliable in the grand scheme of things. 8y
[DELETED] 1409720085 So scary. Have you watched "Making a Murderer" on Netflix? I am scared to watch it because I know it is going to make me so sad but from what I've heard they are kind of similar stories. 8y
Nuwanda Agreed. It astonishes me that Don was barely ever questioned! 8y

Hazel0303 I totally agree regarding the shoddy investigation (nothing new being said with that statement I know), but aren't they only reviewing the case bc of the alibi and they feel his attorney was derelict in her duty? I haven't finished the book yet, but to me a whole case could be made for the lack of a complete investigation. Everything with Don, the evidence found by the body that wasn't tested...Maybe I have just read too many police procedureals 8y
Hazel0303 But don't they have to fully investigate everyone so they can prove it was Adnan? They had no physical evidence and if Don did it, why was Jay so involved? 8y
jessberk13 @Hazel0303 I think he got a raw deal all around. It was a perfect storm of everything that could possibly go wrong. Of course and most unfortunately, I'm positive his race/religion played a major part in the entire investigation. 8y
jessberk13 @Hazel0303 I agree - they definitely could not "prove beyond reasonable doubt" that Adnan was guilty. 8y
Hazel0303 @Jessica yes - I forgot to address the race/religion angle. It just infuriates me that whole take. And I was really interested when they brought up something similar if that happened today and I thought when Rabia said that the community would at least know what to expect and could be prepared for it now when they weren't then... That just makes me so deeply sad. Also, I wonder if the DoJ investigation into the Baltimore Police will have an impac 8y
Hazel0303 T on this case. 8y
