panThis book is a very slow start and way too long then it needs to be. Cady attends Harvard hoping to learn more about her brother Eric's suicide. I was hoping for more of a ghostly mystery story but was disappointed. I think the voices Cady heard were more in her head than actually coming from ghosts. The book tries to be too many genres and therefore suffers to meet any fully. The basic story is a good one but just got muddled in the telling.
