I don't usually read romances, but I love reading WWII novels. This was a spellbinding, wonderful read. It's the first book I have read by Cindy Bonner, but it won't be my last.

It's 1940, and Lange DeLony just lost his estranged. He decides that he needs a fresh start. He is a cropduster, so he decides to join the RAF. On his way to his post, he meets Mackie. Soon, he is unable to get her out of his mind.

Bonner's MCs grew ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read throughout the book. It is a well-written book. I felt as though I was leaving friends behind when I closed the book.

Bette Thanks for this. It reminded me of her first book, Lily, which I read decades ago. A few of us at the library read it and loved it so I‘m excited to read this now. 1h
