This is my first book by this author I really enjoyed the story between Penelope and Stephen and how their relationship grew. The slow seduction with Stephen towards Penelope was quite enjoyable and did not feel rushed. For me the story did not seem to drag along or stall like some other romance books.

If there is not a story between Dorothea and Jonathan I hope one is written. I am going to check out other books by the author to see if there is one.
