Read for #disabilitypride month in July, and just now getting around to reviewing here. I really appreciate the multiple perspectives here that helped open my eyes to the issues of disability intimacy. Wong is also the editor of Disability Visibility, which I have yet to read, and I wonder how similar they are. One of the most memorable perspectives from this was the plural person, describing their experiences with multiplicity.

ChaoticMissAdventures I have followed Alice on social media for years and her and all the voices she helps raise up are so incredible. I am constantly in awe of her. 4mo
Chelsea.Poole @ChaoticMissAdventures I should follow her! Thank you! 4mo

July is #disabilitypride month. My career has centered around working with disabled children & families, primarily in early intervention. I also have an Autistic son. I read a lot of disability research/studies/stories. Tagged is my favorite book (July #shesaid read). Judith Heumann was an amazing trailblazer in the disability community & the US. One of my local bookstores, Brookline Booksmith, has complied a great list of books.

Carly is an amazing person, and I‘ve been following her on Instagram for a while. She‘s so articulate and eloquent, it was plain to see that she‘s lived thru so many painful situations, both mentally and physically, and has solid advice to give.

If you‘re not familiar with disability pride and activism, I suggest you start looking into it, and this is a great starting point. Thanks, Carly.
