It is a passion that is self-destructive and ultimately turns deadly. Some Javert images from the book, the plays, & the movies. (Yes, I'm still trying to catch up with #lesmislovescompany 😱📚😬)

Cortg My daughter discovered Les Mis last week. She watched the Clare Danes version once and the Jack Hughman version twice. We'll watch the anniversary concert one night this week. I've had the music in my head for days now. 8y

Michael Peterson was found guilty of killing his 2nd wife and sentenced to life w/o parole. At the time, I was working in a bookstore in the city where this happened.
Recently he entered an Alford plea of guilty of voluntary manslaughter. His 89 months served fulfilled the terms of his new sentence and he was released.
