Personally, I find hammocks to be too tippy & I‘m too clumsy to fully relax in them-especially drink in hand, but the #Hammock on the cover of this cookbook (from my collection) looks pretty comfortable. 🤷🏻♀️

I tried a new thing today and made macarons… I need to adjust some my techniques but they sure are tasty!
Lately, our health has been a problem. When one of us gets well, the other one gets sick. But they say a bad beginning is a good ending.😄 Still, we take a moment for us to create, read, cook together... We both love chocolate, so we make our own hot chocolate.

This week has been a much needed mental health recharge week:
1. I haven't read any news or gone on any other social media this week.*
2. I'm going on a lantern-lit snowshoe hike tonight. (old pic from a daytime hike)
3. I painted my nails for fun, and I love how they turned out.
4. Othello (the black cat) and Johan (the gray cat) are the best familiars. 😻😻
5. MisterInBlue. ❤️ My ride or die. (old pic with our niece)

#25Alive!
My #Dreams often include food. 😋 This is a dreamy cookbook by one of my favorites, Tessa Kiros.
The three recipes pictured are ones I have made & remade: Spaghetti Aglio, Olio, Peperoncino & Avocado, Tomato Soup with Rice & Basil & Torta di Spaghetti
All are Simple & delicious.
I always loved watching Pépin‘s cooking show ?

The photo doesn't do the stew justice, but it was SO GOOD. I couldn't find fresh habañeros*, so I used a jalapeño and a few dashes of habañero hot sauce. Caribbean-Style Swiss Chard and Butternut Squash Stew from the tagged.
*About 20 years ago, I had a habañero plant in a container on the balcony of our apartment in North Carolina. It grew to about three feet tall and produced at least a hundred habañeros. And now I can't find one pepper. *sigh*
