pickTook a while getting into this book but was then hooked. A fun and interesting story involving a man who needed to change his ways and a ‘homeless man‘ he was kind to helped bring this about. Didn‘t see the ending coming until right towards the end. 😢 Not the ending I expected through the book. The final chapter saved the book. ❤️

This book is staring at me from my shelf, saying ‘Read Me, Read Me Now‘ The #Gift has been sat on my shelf for a number of years unread and determined to get to it this year.

so-soThis was a fine novel, but not at all what I was expecting, so it probably won't be memorable.
It was my #bookspin pick and my first #kidspickmybooks selection for January, so one more off the shelves!
