pickNot sure how this book slipped by my radar, as it‘s right up my alley. A fantastic memoir, which I listened to on audio, read by the author. What a great experience! Perfectly told scenes from her childhood growing up biracial in all-white areas due to her father‘s job. She vividly describes many other scenes from her life in which race has impacted the situation, including life with her husband and children. Great!
