All the arcs I finished for #AugustARC. 9 of the 13 books I read this month were arcs. I'd hoped to get through more than that but not bad for a slow reading month @Clwojick

This was an okay read, would most probably give it 3/5 Stars. An interesting story about new beginnings and alternate timelines. Also some interesting discussions of a wide range of things including how to relax, philosophical elements etc. An interesting twist and it did make me think.

Ugh! I hated Becca, the MC, so much I really didn't care what happened. Plus, the ending was so ignorant. It was like Gagnon didn't know how to wrap up everything between her husband and her.

I should have just bailed, but others really enjoyed it. Just goes to show everyone reads a different book with the same title.

I have no idea what my time is on reading. My stopwatch deleted my time. 2 books done though.

This story had great characters (and a few I loved hating) and had my interest from the beginning. It is a cold case murder mystery and bounces between the mid-19th century and the 1950s. I never figured out who did it. I was totally invested and wanted to find out who the killer was. Very surprised at the end. Though it was not what I was expecting, I was very happy with the ending. 5⭐️

Another book for #AugustARC @Clwojick

I love reading vampire stories and this new series sure scratched that itch. It has a fast paced plot and plenty of tension in the story to keep your interest. In fact, I read this book in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down. I am super excited to read more. 4.5⭐️

Starting a new audiobook, with an interesting premise. Not an author I know, but the first book in a new series. Available as a Listen Now book on #NetGalley

#20in4 #AugustARC @Clwojick

SusanLee I‘ve not tried listening to audiobooks yet, how is the experience? 2y
Andrew65 @SusanLee It can depend on the book, but for me it is a way of getting to more books. Some books work better than others, but I do love audiobooks. Up to a few years ago I hadn‘t tried any. Luckily I started with a good audiobook, The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I get a lot free from the library. I would say just give it a go, you‘ve nothing to lose. (edited) 2y
SusanLee @Andrew65 thanks for the insight! I might give it a try 🤞🏻 2y

Starting a new audiobook about a murder that happened 5 years before at a Beach Party, affected peoples‘ lives but has remained unsolved. Can a the people behind a blog solve the case?

#20in4 #AugustARC @Clwojick

Clwojick Ooooh. I love plots where blogs/podcasts are attempting to solve a murder! 2y
Andrew65 @Clwojick This one is tailor made for you. Should have said podcast not blog. 2y
