pickBook was supposed to be read for #MarchMiddleGrade readathon (YouTube) prompt-retelling (what counts is that I read it. One book less from my tbr👍). The movie adaptation is so different from the book but I enjoyed both of them. You will find some elements from the popular Cinderella story but this Ella character is more assertive and so funny in some parts. Some characters are very different like her father😠It is a cute retelling 3.4/3.5⭐️
