My problem with short stories is always that I don't take enough time to let them sink in. I usually go straight on to the next one and forget about them soon.
This time too, I kept on reading, but I weren‘t able to forget about the ones I‘d finished. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie wouldn‘t let me. She‘s is so good 💕. I think they‘ll linger in the back of my mind forever.

BarbaraBB @Cinfhen No they are not, only in theme. But she has such a way with words. However if you haven‘t read Americanah I‘d recommend that one first. 4y

Flaneurette Chiming in to say I do this too w short stories but still love them. I feel like this is high praise from you as I don‘t remember you reading many story collections! I do need to read Americanah first, it‘s been on my list forever! 4y
