pickI have such fond memories of watching the movie many times with my freshman roommate. While the movie captures the book‘s spirit, like all adaptations, there are differences. I enjoyed the larger role the aunts played in the movie (Stockard Channing!!), but I liked the larger role and ages of Sally‘s daughters in the book. Glad I finally got around to reading this!
