This past year, I read 60 SFF titles, admittedly most of them backlist, but from the 2018 releases, this was the most satisfying: Ben Aaronovitch redeems himself from a run of weak offerings with this conclusion to the Faceless Man story arc.
DC Peter Grant has come a long way from the days of being a clueless PC and novice wizard pounding the pavement in London.
The audio edition is *excellent* (narrated by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith)

❤️ I read 77 Romances last year (I read one every Friday night and long weekend) and, surprisingly, despite my general preferences otherwise, I *love* this long, slow-burn, single-POV romance between two ice-skaters. ⛸⛸
It‘s a stand-alone though it has a connection to ‘Dear Aaron‘
