As the final book in a trilogy, this does a good job of tying up loose ends. The characters hold true to their motivations from the first two books and Miles doesn't leave any gaping plot holes. Unfortunately, since the main point of this book seemed to be bringing everything full circle, there wasn't quite enough action. Instead, there was a lot of focus on characters finally revealing secrets to each other to fix all the problems.
