Miriam Margolyes is a force of nature and her autobiography, read by her, is as funny as it is interesting.

Thanks for this thread, Andrew, it's been fun to see everyone's favourite books month by month.
@Andrew65

Pickpick

For #December #12in2021 all four of my picks ended up being graphic novels - that‘s most of what I read and wow these stood out! #12thbookof2021

Cheer up - I‘m not one for these normally but with the transgender rep and body positive messages I loved it so much.
I am Not Starfire made me laugh and has the best bff in it ever.
Chunky was so funny and had so much more packed in, a must read!
My Body in Pieces wrecked me emotionally.

Pickpick

Thanks @Andrew65 for this fun challenge! My final pick for #12booksof2021 #12thbookof2021 #December is this fabulous short story collection from one of my favorite authors.

These stories absolutely shine…. So full of heart, love, sadness and hope… Lily King‘s writing is so gorgeous, every character so relatable, each story full of beautiful detail and nuance. This is one of the best short story collections I‘ve read in a really long time.

Andrew65 Looks good, thanks for playing along. 😊 3y

My #12thBookOf2021 for #December is this powerfully told little charmer of a novella from the queen of sentimental SciFi. A metaphorical tale of what exactly is life, told through the wanderings of a disenchanted Tea Monk searching for his purpose, & a wild-built sentient robot on the same journey. It was sweet, it was kind & as all her books do, it makes you think. Cannot wait for more! #12BooksOf2021

Andrew65 Wanting to read more Sci Fi this year. 3y

This was a joy to read! Creepy, intriguing, edge of your seat. Not one boring sentence in the entire book. The way thrillers should be done! It was also very quotable.
