I love SLF and while this wasn‘t as good as Salt & Broom, it was very entertaining. A beautifully haunting fairytale set in 1800s in York. Forbidden love between the classes that stars a headstrong, well-read woman. Book #117 in 2024

Another NotSoScary book! It was a little scary, just enough. A nasty witch took a little girl for 50 years then traded her in for another little girl. She hadn‘t counted on the little girl‘s brother being so brave and true. Really good story, excellent audiobook. #117 #20in4 #2 #FallIntoReading #NotSoScaryAthon

Andrew65 @Allylu Think we have now turned the corner, but get exhausted at the drop of a hat, and some days like today go backwards. But hopefully each day getting a little stronger. Thanks for asking. 😍 3y
Allylu @Andrew65 Good. Good. Even though we have never met and probably never will, it still feels like we‘re friends. 3y
Allylu @EadieB Thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out. She must have a thing for dolls. LOL 3y
EadieB @Allylu I think she does have a thing for dolls! 3y

It was determined that a high school student named Andy was murdered by her boyfriend. Pippa isn‘t so sure as she delves into the past. Honestly I liked BETWEEN THE SHADES OF GREY alot more. But it was still a good book to listen to.

#117 of my year. This one is my most anticipated of the year and I can‘t wait to devour it. Here is my collection of V.E. Schwab and I can‘t wait to get her comic series and add all of her work to my home collection. Yes, she really is that magnificent to read and just as a human in general. I‘m listening to Hate The Way by G Easy, Blackbear 🖤🐻

Caffeinated_Reader 🙇🏻‍♀️ having such bad anxiety and depression...haven‘t picked this book back up in 2 days 😫 4y
Caffeinated_Reader First off I‘d like to say that although I was in a long bout of depression, I am glad I finally crawled out and finished this book. I think subconsciously I knew it was too heavy to read with everything else going on in my reality that even escaping into this story would still be an extension of that misery and woe. 4y
Caffeinated_Reader That being said...this story was heartbreaking and enlightening. The story may be all about remembering Addie...but man, how can we forget Henry? I felt so much connection to this character and his life between these pages read close to my own. 4y
Caffeinated_Reader I think Addie is great and cheeky and tragically wonderful...but Henry is where my heart was pulled to. From the moment he appears in the story I could tell he was going to leave a scar. My gosh what a scar! Highly recommend this story. 4y

#117 I think I bought this at a grocery store lol it‘s been calling my name ☺️

Caffeinated_Reader This book was great. It had equal parts blood and gore with just enough sexual tension between two characters and badassery. The balance of it all was excellent. I really liked the cult aspect and all that was revealed. Definitely worth the read! 5y

2017 #117 dog memoir audio this book was a little slow to start but the last half was an emotional rollercoaster. When UP came out the voice of my dog was Doug. Now Bailey narrates my life with my dog. Stupid dust in the house bothering my eyes ... sniffle. Now to see if the movie can capture the awesome.
