pickThis is my first experience with Lippman‘s writing- & I‘m sure it won‘t be my last! I enjoyed this thriller with its many references to other books, films & tv shows. Narrator Gerry Anderson is a writer- one who has achieved success. But he‘s also rather unlikable in attitude & treatment of women & relationships. This does bog down the beginning of the book which at first feels a bit Misery-esque. But the surprise ending more than compensates!

My mom actually tried mine out and ordered herself one the very same day! Definitely recommend it!! ❤️ 4y
