This one has an interesting premise, time travel. It's forced time travel, you don't have control over when you go and for how long you're gone, but you always go to the same place and time period. It appears to all be in the past. There's no explanation for why it's happening and there doesn't appear to be much effort on the part of the MC to figure anything out. There are more in the series and I might read them but they aren't must reads to me.
