Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed?
Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed? | Liz Prince
3 posts | 5 read | 1 to read
Winner of the Ignatz Award for Outstanding Debut. "Beautifully simple and sweet, Liz prince portrays couples in a delightfully self-conscious way."-- Farel Dalrymple "An adorable little collection of snippets and snapshots of moments from their relationship ... the silly, gross and snuggly moments that Liz and Kevin share. A wondrous present to someone you hold dear."-- Neil Figuracion, Broken Frontier What started out as an exercise in keeping a personal comics journal, quickly evolved into Liz Prince's first solo graphic novel. Described as a mix between Jeffrey Brown and James Kochalka, Liz's comics are comprised of short vignettes that capture all the cute, gross, and endearing aspects of relationships. It's the perfect book for all those fans of autobiographical comics who want to see a happy ending.

This is the blurb on the inside cover of Liz Prince's WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME IF I WET THE BED?, a short adorable book of comics about the small, silly moments that make up an intimate relationship. I love that the blurb is in comic form too, and it's really funny. #BestBlurbs #SeasonsReadings2016

Ok, it's possible I'm an asshole, but this comic about a sweetly perfect couple is soooooooo boring. There's no conflict. It's just a series of vignettes of adorable perfection. It was too twee for me -- which says a lot. Get Prince's TOMBOY instead.

Peterdamien I like that you dislike it for TOO MUCH NICENESS. I mean come on. 9y
brenna @Peterdamien it's just page after page of two people being pleasant. I can't even. 9y
Matilda Overly nice belongs in RL and complicated asshole train wrecks in fiction. @Peterdamien, @brenna 9y
