"The Signal-Man" left me feeling unsettled and it was my fave of the three; a proper ghostly story. "A Trial for Murder" was decent in parts and had a dash of Dickensian melodrama which is quite satisfying if you're into it. "The Haunted House" was likely padded out for the word count. I read this in installments via Serial Reader before bed at night and slept very well, so that in itself makes me want to bump it up to 3 stars, but not quite. Lol.

I found The Haunted House disappointing, but I'd check out some of the collaborators' stories another time (which weren't included in Three Ghost Stories). The Trial for Murder was fine, but didn't hook me. The Signal-Man, which I've read before, was enjoyable - there's a reason it's the most famous of the three 😂 Read on #SerialReader @SerialReader
