Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Epic fantasy but with low magic. Complex and detailed world building. Pirates. Betrayal. Diverse characters. A coming of age story without the annoying coming of age angst. I absolutely loved this.

For #readjanuary, topic of #titlewithapropername: Inda is the first in a series of books with a main character of that name. I think I bought my copy in the States, maybe in 2009. I remember reading this years ago and liking it enough to follow the whole series, but I'm a bigger fan of Sherwood Smith's YA fantasy.

RealLifeReading Haven't heard of this series before. Sounds good! 8y
Chachic @RealLifeReading It's an adult fantasy series with a military society and a lot of political intrigue. I think Crown Duel is her most well-known title so you might want to start with that if you want to try Sherwood Smith's writing. 8y
