The illustrations bring life to everything in the pictures. The sun and moon, for example, have faces which makes it bright. The pages with the food the caterpillar ate are unique as well because they‘re shorter in length and they are more interactive.
Eric Carle did a really nice job with this book. The illustrations are so unique and have their own style to them. I will definitely have this book in my classroom.
I'm in love with this onesie and bib set a friend sent our son! Perfect for a librarian's baby! 7 more weeks until we are scheduled to meet our little guy. We will see when he actually makes his arrival.
And more #BookishMail comes in the form of these that I ordered from https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheBookNerdStore and they are a bit more narrow than I like, but still great padding and I LOVE the Tolkien quote, the Hungry Caterpillar, as well as the HP one! Starry Night is my favourite painting, though Van Gogh is not my painter of choice. And I imagined Mac from the Fever series when I selected the rainbow one 😊 #ProtectYourBooks
