I thought this might be a retelling of East of the 🌑 West of the ☀️ but no - it is a story of sisters... and kinda sounds like a middle grade version of prison break in a fantasy setting...

Finished this last night! I did enjoy it, and it was quite gripping, but it was very linear in it story telling (then this happened, then this happened) the twists were easy to spot (although I suppose for a middle grade novel they were sufficient). What I did like were the characters. I'd say this story is about friendships and sisterly love, and it portrays both of those well. Another off the #tbrbingo
Yet another one for my tbr. From Bloomsbury Publishing. Haven't read much middle grade stuff but this sounds interesting! Described as a cross between Prison Break and Frozen on goodreads, it centres around 2 sisters, one of which is trying to break the other out of prison by being arrested herself.
