A 90-year-old man at the end of a hedonistic, unattached, and ultimately unfulfilling life decides to cure it by doubling down and paying for a night with a young, virgin prostitute. Exhausted and strung out on valerian, the girl falls asleep. Rather than have sex with her, the old man muses on what her life must be like and the life he himself could have chosen, and feels compassion and - for the first time - something like real love.
