With new member Eleven officially in the adventuring party, Lizel continues accepting quests around town. He's now a C-rank adventurer, despite most fellow adventurers and guild members still only seeing him as a charming nobleman. He can't even haggle for food successfully since everyone keeps giving him things for free! When Lizel finally gets the chance to speak to his father and king again, he discovers his initial hypothesis is true: he really is in a whole different world, and it might be a long time before he can go home again...

This volume actually gives us a glimpse of Lizel's “most precious person“... and of course it's his king. Except mostly Lizel's dad takes up the time they can talk together.

It also features Gil reading again, and a trip to the hot springs... from which both Eleven and Lizel need to be carried home. I feel that in my soul: a hot bath is wondrous, but I always have to sit down for quite a while afterwards.

Faranae When I was in Japan, a friend fainted in a hot spring and when a concerned person woke them up, they were so startled they hit their head. They were fine, but they really should have left when I did, so I feel this from the other perspective. 😆 2w
shanaqui @Faranae In this case, Gil would never let either of them come to harm, except for the harm to their dignity of being carried home like that.

But yeah, fainting would definitely be me. I've never fainted after a hot bath, but I've come very, very close to it.

Viscount Ray: “If Mr Lizel were a woman, I'm sure I'd be passionately seducing him right about now!“
Butler: “How is that different from your attitude toward him now?“

Say the quiet part out louder, why don't you?
