Men view love as a game. One you can walk away from. At least thats what the men in my life have taught me. My dad ran off when I was young, and just when I thought I was getting my own happily ever after, my ex left me on my own with two kids. Trying to pick up the pieces, I move to a small town where I can have help from my childrens grandparents. I think I know what to expect from small-town life. Until I meet my new neighbor. Knox Madigan. Local hero. Great smile. So hot I'm sure Id be burned if I got too close. Literally. He and my kids are in a major prank war. From whoopie cushions in my bed to snapping fireworks under my front door mat, Ive witnessed it all. But I cant hold it against him because my kids are smiling more than Ive seen since their dad left. Every meddling person in this town thinks wed be the perfect match, but I know better. Historys shown men view love as a game, and hes an expert. But I cant afford to play with my heart again. Especially since its not just my heart on the line.

Pickpick

Overall, I liked this story. I loved all the prank pulling and all the sweetness, love, and support. I do question if the author has ever been to Texas before, because the books set there seem to suggest that she hasn‘t... but I do believe she has driven (or at least talked to someone who has driven) in Dallas traffic.

GingerAntics I have enjoyed this series, but this is where I get off the merry-go-round. The books are getting predictable now, and the final book feels like it‘s about a minor character. I just don‘t want to at this point. I know it‘s just one more book, but no. I just can‘t make myself even buy it. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 2d
GingerAntics The last few books have had some truly cringy moments with absolutely problematic ideas from otherwise good characters. These are even more problematic with the author being a woman. #KelsieHoss #HelloTease #audiobook 2d
