Everything changes when a master illuminator arrives with an extraordinary book containing secret powers. But the book is unfinished, and Brendans help is needed. As he sets off on a thrilling adventure through the enchanted woods, Brendan encounters wicked creatures lurking in the shadowsbut also new friends. With the help of the bold fairy Aisling, can Brendan finish the ancient book and cast light over Kells? 2.5 ⭐Apparently this graphic novel is based on a movie. I have not seen the movie. The artwork in this book is lovely. However, the story is at times hard to follow. I think so much has been cut from the movie to make the book fit within a certain set of page numbers. Parts of the story are confusing, and it feels like we‘re missing pieces. Overall, the book is beautiful, but it was not as satisfying read.
