While I‘ve read about 15 of my #readordonate books, I was inspired to do a bit of a purge today to make room for more new books in my life. I sold nearly 30 books to Half Price Books, only bought 3 ( one was a gift) and feel lighter for it! Thanks for the inspiration @julieclair !
KadaGul It feels awesome to clear off my bookshelf! I'm short on space, so when I grab books from library sales but don‘t get to read them, I put them in the Little Free Library. I often visit several LFLs around me and in nearby towns. I have a LFL designated box in my car 🚘. 2mo

julieclair @KadaGul I keep forgetting about Little Free Libraries. I usually list my purged books on Paperback Swap. But I have a bunch that have been sitting on there for quite awhile. I‘m going to follow your lead and bring them to a couple of the LFLs near me. 😄 2mo
KadaGul @julieclair I‘m a big fan of PaperbackSwap! Have you ever sent books to libraries in small towns? I sent some to a church library in Iowa and a little library in Montana. It‘s cool to see so many requests coming from Vermont and Oregon. I have a box that can hold up to 25 books. I normally try to pick books from library sales on PBS or, if I know, an LFL caters to a certain age group 👥. 2mo

KadaGul @julieclair I‘m unsure how to search on PBS, but I can send you the two or three books I mailed out. I can send them via email, or if you‘re cool with it, I can add you to PBS, too. The libraries were looking for the books I posted. 2mo
KadaGul @julieclair Oops, my mistake! I thought you were asking about the libraries 📚 on PBS. There are several towns and libraries within a 20-mile radius of Barrington. My friend and I get involved in the reading challenges at those libraries 📚. For Library sales, I use this site: https://www.booksalefinder.com/IL.html 2mo
