panGrandpa is telling the story of the ghost that dances on the well to his grandson. But the author (not the grandpa, which might be understandable) goes off on tangents, and the book ends without revealing the story, presumably in book 2. Meant for kids, I don't see how this book can be likable at all when the book never gets to the story it's supposed to tell.
Love the cover though.
