Pickpick

This is a lush and seductive book. This rich gothic novel immerses readers in Italy, the art world, and culinary pleasure. Crystal King's descriptions and narrative, mixed with the authentic creations of Dali and the actual Garden of Monsters, will make you want to visit Italy, an art museum, or both! The myth of Hades and Persephone is especially poignant in this story, and it left me craving pomegranate (if you know, you know).
