The story was interesting, but the way it was told was incredibly disjointed and the dialog was incredibly odd. Some of that could be the translation I guess? #Booked2022 @4thhouseontheleft with a weather term in the title!

For me it wasn‘t the criminal story that convinced me – it was more how it was told. For example the story wasn‘t over when the offender was caught. Especially in the beginning it was annoying how the case reflected some of the protagonists‘s problems but as the story moved on those private plotlines got some nice twitches.
How the narrative perspective changed on and off, simply by the use of „he“ or „she” was both demanding and witty.
Since I had a tough day at work I need to postpone my start of „Da waren‘s nur noch zwei“ again. I just feel that an audiobook will help me better to calm down and relax.
After, years ago, an acquaintance of mine has told me that she is reading this book I always wanted to read it, too, because I like the title so much. Rain Girl.
So it was very nice that as I delved among the books in my Onleihe I found it as an audiobook. It led kind of a miserable existence on my wish list but now I borrowed it spontaneously for this weeks‘ commuting.
Let‘s hope it will be downloaded properly by tomorrow morning.
