A town full of magic and witches that can only be fling by those invited to town or those who possess magic. Sounds like a good storyline! Diversity is also represented, which is great. But…the story itself fell flat for me. I completely disliked the male MC, and the extremely spicy scenes made me cringe because of his domination.
I may have not been the target audience for this one, as the voice narrator‘s choice in telling the story ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Librarybelle ⬆️⬆️⬆️with extra emphasis on words that did not need emphasis was distracting to the narrative. A few of the characters also sounded either flippant or a little spaced out. Not the strongest listen for me, but thanks to #NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced listening copy. (edited) 5mo
