Well, I read this because I‘m watching the Winter Olympics and I love The Cutting Edge. I hoped I would love it as much as I do that movie. But it was not to be. It‘s fine, but it drags quite a bit in the middle. My god you two! Kiss already!

I wonder if I can find The Cutting Edge on Netflix?

GypsyKat The Cutting Edge is such a cute movie! 💗 7y

Zelma My family still uses Toe Pick as a punchline to anything. 😂 @LiteraryinLititz 7y
Loreen I love the movie so much. I‘m glad other Littens do too. And yes, we yell toe pick when ever we are clumsy. 😬 7y

Since it seemed like 98% of people answered figure skating as their favorite winter Olympic sport on the last friyayintro and because pairs skating is on TV right now, I thought I would highlight this slow burn #romantsy about two skaters with baggage paired together in Russia. Great for fans of The Cutting Edge!

The next in the series (different characters) had not-great reviews but I just one-clicked the 5th. I‘ll report back!

"We're partners, Carrie, not just two skaters making tricks." #romantsy #skating

Pickpick

My Russian co-worker just came back from Moscow and gave me some Russian sweets. I was reminded of how much I enjoyed this figure skating romance set in Russia. I like romances that are set outside the usuals (US, UK or even Australia). It was easy to get into and I read it fairly quickly. I keep meaning to read the rest of the books in the series but haven't found the time to pick them up (so many books, so little time). #romantsy #LitsyFeature

Three Thoughts 1) slow burn book & while I liked that it took time for couple to declare love, etc I hated that for most of book Anton had a girlfriend 2) quiet book until that WTFery that happened at end 3) Anton was sweet but Carrie annoyed me

The Polish say these things too...and then you drink the vodka and more vodka and then you've been drunk under table and wondering why world is spinning so fast. Word to wise: don't drink vodka with Eastern Europeans. Just...don't
