How to Steal a Galaxy | Beth Revis
2 posts | 3 read
Sparks fly when Ada and Rian just-so-happen to find themselves at the same charity galabut theres something rotten behind the sparkling gowns and dazzling wealth on display This heist turned rom-com from New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis is perfect for fans of sexy, romantic science fiction and readers of Martha Wells and Becky Chambers Ada had no intention whatsoever to continue working for the rebel group that hired her to retrieve the governments plans for a nanobot climate cleaner if they werent willing to pay her for it, but then they offer a different perk: an undercover mission to a charity gala where Rian will be in attendance. Rian, meanwhile, has volunteered his services for the gala believing that the rare items up for auction will attract Adas eye. Hoping to catch her in the act and pin her with a punishable crime, Rian has no idea that Adas real mission is to convince him to join the rebels. And the rebels have no idea that Adas decided that kidnapping Rian is the most efficient means to an end. How to Steal the Galaxy continues the sexy, rip-roaring good time that Beth Revis began in Full Speed to a Crash Landing, with the return of Ada, Rian, and all the tension, twists, and turns that made the first novella so much fun.

4.5 ⭐This is a sequel full speed to a crash landing. We follow the same characters just a little time after we left them. Ada cannot be found at a fancy gala on one of the Earth ready to pull a giant heist. Ryan‘s not far behind her. While the rest of the crew is not with him, he has a new team and his goal is to get back what Ada took and prevent her from stealing anything else. The fate of the original earth is on the line.

LibrarianRyan Ada is snarky. She was snarky in the first book, but she‘s more snarky in book too. This is the type of snarky that is fun. She feels like she could be your best friend. Her chemistry with the Ryan character is spot on and I love that. This book is not a romance that has romantic elements. there is no spice in this book just steam, but it‘s just right to let us in to the finale. Book 3 needs to get here faster.

4/5

Ada is back for a museum heist where she has multiple agendas, including a reunion with Rian. It was another fun read that left me guessing at what Ada's goals really were. I cannot wait to read the next novella to see where this story is going.
