panPredictable and boring. The characters all communicate and think with the same high level of speech; it's like they're all authors. Descriptions are lacking or non fluid/uncreative. The plot is pretty straightforward, with the obstacles to development being a simple matter of back and forth on evidence for the crimes.
I feel compelled to finish the books I start, but struggled with this one. Only read if there's not much else :/
