This was a very soft, cute ghost story. Loved how family was entwined in this and Avery was a great protagonist. This is a MG read, but really dealt with a lot of heavier things. Enjoyed it, looking to read more by Gensler.

This was not at all what I was expecting. Kinda “meh”. Could just be the mood I‘m in.

Thank you @ulrichyumiodd for sending me this book! I remember really enjoying “The Dark Between”, which is also by Gensler, and am pleased to say that “Ghostlight” did not disappoint! I‘d have a hard time considering this “Middle Grade”, as some of the topics explored are a bit heavy. It‘s more YA. Subtly creepy, but also very thoughtful. Plus, the story kept me HOOKED. Great character growth. Also learned a lot about filmmaking from it 😂

For younger readers this book has just the right amount of spook factor. I enjoyed the characters and the lessons that they learned.

@ulrichyumiodd - thank you for the AMAZING package. You spoiled me! I love all of it. I have never had a book cover and the mummy one is adorable. The books sound awesome and to have matching halloween bookmarks is fabulous! The owl candle will be up year round - its lovely!
