pickA "fix it" fic for Wuthering Heights. Instead of marrying Linton, Catherine Earnshaw is taken under the wing of a Great Aunt (Maria Branwell, nod to the Brontes' mother) and has a Season in town. Heathcliff is there under a new name, stirring revenge, but yearning for Catherine's love.
We get to bypass the murderous abusive rage and see these two find happiness. I enjoyed this, the nods to pen names and the move away from overwrought passion.
