I thoroughly enjoyed this novel about two sprightly octogenarian sisters whose trip to Paris to be awarded the Legion D‘honneur brings back memories for both is a lighthearted romp with some depth to it. Recommended.
This utterly delightful book follows nonagenarian sisters Penny and Josephine in the current day as they are honored for their WWII service as we also learn about each of their pasts. I thought it would lighthearted throughout and while it‘s not, it‘s well balanced emotionally and the characters are terrific. I‘m hoping for more from this author.
