This is a fun collection of brief science presentations from Nerd Nights around the world. Nerd Nights, which I had never heard of, are Moth-type events with fun but informative short science presentations — anything from biology to astrophysics. A good #BorrowNotBuy!

Though I had never heard of Nerd Nite before diving into this book, a night of entertaining, educational science presentations plus drinks sounds like a great night! Including a wide variety of topics from STEM professionals across the globe, this makes for a fun read! While some essays may not be new info, there are plenty that are introductions to fascinating topics you may want to dive deeper in on your own! Sadly, not much mushroom info here!
