"I was blown away not only by the writing, but by the adventurous and expansive concept stretched out across these essays. The Loneliness Files has a real opportunity to reshape and redefine what a cohesive, braided, essay collection can be." --Hanif Abdurraqib, Tin House, Editor-at-Large

Pickpick

I‘m so late in posting this week‘s library haul that I‘ve already finished this book, returned it, and picked up three more. 🤦🏻‍♀️

V interesting essay collection that explores loneliness and death. I can understand her obsession with people who died alone while she quarantined alone during the pandemic. She writes beautifully about losing close family members too. Later essays were a bit brighter, and I especially enjoyed the one about fanfic.

BarbaraBB Beautiful photo too 🥰 11mo
