I enjoyed this book but it was not the literary experience I was promised. It was also very predictable at times.
But I would read this author again if the story looks appealing.

This looks like it‘s going to be good, but has low reviews…I‘ve taken it upon myself to find out why 😅
This book was endlessly frustrating with an MC I couldn't stand. Couldn't wait for it to be over. ⭐️⭐️

Oh how I love a messy life and marriage novel! Characters making a cavalcade of bad choices, acting selfishly, and creating complicated relationships result in a novel about stories: the ones that are real and the ones that we tell ourselves. Is our narrator just down on his luck, overlooked by others, or is he the one responsible for his own ennui and eventual downfall? Thought provoking and full of drama.
