This is the 2nd book about the Anna Montes espionage case I‘ve read this year. This one was written by the FBI agent who arrested her, so a cool memoir twist.
Motes worked for the DoD in intelligence and was intimately familiar with US plans for Latin America. For 17 years she shared what she knew with Cuba. She wasn‘t a master spy, but she used her exceptional memory, floppy discs, and a short wave radio. She served time from 2001 to this year.
