Held up on reread, it‘s still very funny - the writing is a little rough around the edges but I think that‘s just part of the charm

I'm on the 4th week of feeling like I'm drowning in my own mucus from sinuses and lungs. Kindle Unlimited to the pity party with another 30 day free trial. I'm spending the weekend with blankets and tea. And with this guilty pleasure series about an imp who has been passing for human for 40 years before getting (somewhat accidentally) bonded with an archangel and selected by a magic sword to be the next Satan. Chaos ensues. 😈

I couldn‘t put this book down!!

I love this series! The heroine, Sam, is an imp from 'Hel.' The angels are totally uptight and then there are fairies too--oh, and humans. Sam is naughty (in Impish ways), but she's growing and changing--and there's an amazing Angel (intimacy is forbidden) and a fabulous sexy hacker human (ditto, but she's all about breaking rules). Did I say she's hiding out in the human plane as a slum lord? Love it! #romantsy. #urbanfantasy. #fantasy. #angels

This is everything I love about urban fantasy! Goodreads recommended this to me when I was on holidays in America and completely kindle dependant, so downloaded on a whim! Main character is an imp, living in the real world, masquerading as a human... she has a house with a pool and stables, a crush on her hot neighbour. Life is good until the local werewolf pack blackmail her into investigating a murder...
