pickBeginning with Loeb and Sale's Marvel series, I love the concept in comics of doing an anthology series with a focus on the characters primary colors. Superman: Red and Blue does not disappoint. A mix of stories about citizens and aliens, heroes and villains, and values.
Darth Vader - Black, White & Red
pick122/150 Superman doesn't get the props or interest enjoyed by Batman, but he's just as unique and diverse as The Bat. These stories show Kal-El in all his different roles, son, father, family man, husband, friend, hero and icon. Some of the stories are quite touching. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

On @Robotswithpersonality recommendation, I decided to give this a try.
pickGranted, I've read more Batman than Superman, but this is easily the best Superman graphic novel I've ever read. Similar to Batman Black and White in that it's a collection of shorter stories, in a particular colour scheme, by different writers and artists. Unsurprisingly, of course, they're a lot more upbeat! 1/2
