I'm sure I've asked at least a couple times for @litsy to add Ask Cassandra... have they stopped processing book adds?

Anyway! This is a very enjoyable romantic re-telling, part of the terrific Olympus, Inc series. Archivist Cassandra takes on a big job organising the archives of the Tantalus vineyard. Family secrets, friendships, and romance ensue. There's also a hefty helping of librarian/historian-bait slice-of-life archiveporn.

Lauredhel ... and I know damn well that a handful or two of you just hit 'buy' based on that last sentence alone.

In good news, though this is a series, it's a classic romance series: enhanced by having read the previous books, but they're not compulsory. However... read them all :)

Tagged is the previous book in the series, but Ask Cassandra is out today!

"Cassie Troiades is a freelance archivist, but her secret side gig as a popular advice columnist has made her cynical about love and despair for her own romantic future. When Manny Pelopson hires her to catalogue his family's old documents at the Tantalus Vineyard, they begin to find romance and mystery among the archives.

Greek mythology meets The Devil Wears Prada!"

Pickpick

This Olympus-meets-DWP feminist romance series by Karen Healey's alter ego is not fading with time, but going from strength to strength!

In Hera Takes Charge, Hera is shaking off the debris of her catastrophic marriage with Zeus, dealing with a new, too-charming co-CEO of Olympus Publishing, taking in a street kid, and dealing with far too much attraction to her housemate and ex-brother-in-law, Don. Do yourself a favour, etc.

Lauredhel Can't wait for Ask Cassandra. 7mo
Lauredhel Also contains: love for quilting art, zero tolerance for toxic male bullshit, a little too much Rolex appreciation for my tastes, super caring nurturing dude, fabulous frocks (need fan art!), and wholesome videogame bonding 7mo

I got distracted from this book but am happy to be back reading it! This feminist, contemporary Olympus-gods-retelling #romance series is CRIMINALLY under-rated. I love it all.

The tagged book is the latest in a contemporary romance series based off of Greek myths and set in a modern-day publishing empire. The entire series is SO GOOD and I can't stop raving about them. These three finish a story arc, and the next one is about Cassandra (Cassie) and Menelaus (Manny) and it's out in June! I'm so excited!
(We first meet Manny in the prequel novelette Penelope Pops the Question which is staunchly feminist and amazing.)

Lauredhel Why are all these books so good, and why does no-one else know about them? 7mo
